Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh, has been making waves at the box office. And as the film makes history at the box office, a viral picture from the same has started a rumour about Dhurandhar: The Final Chapter, which would be the third part of the franchise. The viral picture alleges that Dhurandhar 3 will release on June 14. But there is no truth to these claims since there have been no announcements made in the film’s post-credit scenes. The filmmakers have not put out any statements about a third part of the franchise. Having said that, the post-credit scene has left fans hoping for a third instalment in the future. Made by Aditya Dhar, the action thriller continues the story of Ranveer’s character with the backstory of Jaskirat Singh Rangi. The film also stars Arjun Rampal as ISI Major Iqbal, R. Madhavan as Ajay Sanyal, Sanjay Dutt as SP Choudhary, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in key parts.

The film, which made Rs 100 crore on its first day, has grossed a record Rs 278 crore domestically and crossed the Rs 300 crore mark globally within three days of release. Despite not being released in Gulf countries, the film grossed millions of dollars overseas. After Sunday, Dhurandhar 2’s overseas opening weekend total stands at $22 million. According to Box Office Mojo, the Ranveer Singh-starrer scored a $9.6 million debut in the United States, making it the third highest film in North America this weekend.
