Amid this, the actor is also shooting for her upcoming film, Raaka, with Allu Arjun, directed by Atlee. Reports suggest that this role of hers has been trimmed, and now the movie’s team has stepped up to clarify the situation.

Many reports suggested that Deepika Padukone’s role in Raaka might be trimmed or that she could even be replaced after she announced her pregnancy. But this does not seem to be the case since the film’s team has denied all such reports and called them baseless. In a statement to Times of India, the makers dismissed all this and said, “Everything is moving as planned. Deepika Padukone plays a crucial role in Raaka, and the shoot is unfolding seamlessly with great energy on set.”
This comes just a few days after the actor announced her second pregnancy, and of course, such reports were bound to come since one always has to target a woman. An industry source told the outlet that Padukone is shooting intense action sequences for Raaka. They said she will also continue shooting for the film throughout her pregnancy. The actor and the makers have taken all the precautions necessary while filming this project. Not just this Allu Arjun project, but the actor is also shooting for Shah Rukh Khan’s King, featuring Suhana Khan.
