The latest pop feud between Taylor Swift and Charli XCX is only getting escalated as time passes. It all started after the former’s alleged diss track against the latter called, ‘Actually Romantic’ from her new album, The Life Of A Showgirl. While Swift has denied that it was a diss track, Charli released a clip of her recording a new song, which spread like wildfire on social media. Read to know more about what’s happening between the two.

About Taylor Swift, Charli XCX

During a recent chat with Vanity Fair, Charli XCX was asked to comment on Taylor Swift’s claimed diss track against her. And as per the publication, she refused to say anything on the matter. For the unversed, the lyrics of ‘Actually Romantic’ led fans to think that the singer was dissing her peer, as it said,  “Wrote me a song sayin’ it makes you sick to see my face. I heard you call me ‘Boring Barbie’ when the coke’s got you brave.” This might be a problem for the ‘Apple’ singer’s alleged drug use.

Swift explained in an audio introduction to the song for Amazon Music that ‘Actually Romantic’ is about a “one-sided, adversarial relationship.” Swift described the song as a “love letter to someone who hates you” in her accompanying The Life of a Showgirl film experience. Charli, 33, stoked dispute conjecture when she appeared on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, wearing a cropped T-shirt that read “Max’s Kansas City.”

Though the shirt has the name of a legendary NYC nightclub where iconic artists and musicians have performed, many people assumed it was a subtle answer to “Actually Romantic” — especially because Swift’s fiancé, Travis Kelce, plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.
