BTS Jungkook’s Towel Photo Receives Backlash Over Alleged Matching Tattoo With Aespa Winter
BTS Jungkook and Aespa Winter have been embroiled in a dating scandal. It all started when both idols were seen having the same tattoo on their arms. The issue intensified as protest trucks were sent to both the artist’s company, HYBE and SM Entertainment. BTS Jungkook Accused Of Hiding Tattoo Amid Dating Rumours With Aespa Winter
BTS Jungkook and Jimin’s travel variety show, Are You Sure, season 2 released on 3rd December 2025. A new picture of Jungkook from the show has, however, started receiving backlash. The photo features Jungkook standing in his room, half-naked, with a towel on his arm.

Netizens started criticising the K-pop idol for allegedly trying to hide his tattoo, the same one that is identical to Aespa Winter’s. Many took to social media to talk about the topic, but they were confused as to why he tried hiding the tattoo.“In all their content, he’s always covering that side when he’s shirtless,” pointed out one commentator, while another questioned why Jungkook chose such an obvious spot to get the tattoo, saying, “Why did he choose that spot…does he not think about his future?”
While Winter’s company, SM Entertainment, has recently put out a statement informing that they will be taking strict legal action against those who have defamed or posted explicit content, such as deepfakes of Winter on social media. Both companies, however, have remained silent on the dating rumours that they have been embroiled in.

Career-wise, BTS Jungkook got discharged from his mandatory military service in March. Following this, he travelled to Los Angeles with the group to work on BTS’s upcoming album, which is set to be released next year in March. Aespa Winter is currently on tour with the group titled Synk: Aexis Line that began on August 29, 2025 and will be ending in Tokyo on April 26th, 2026.
