Dhurandhar The Revenge was finally released on March 18, 2026. After an excellent first part released in December 2025, anticipation for this one was unmatched. While most moviegoers enjoyed Dhurandhar, reviews of The Revenge are mixed, with criticism aimed at the editing, music, and propaganda-like elements. When it comes to audience members, quite a few praised Ranveer Singh’s acting, which propels the plot forward. Reactions on X (formerly known as Twitter) have been largely positive, hinging on the scale and actor performances.

Dhurandhar The Revenge: What Are X (Formerly Twitter) Users Saying About Aditya Dhar’s Magnum Opus?

In the second part of Aditya Dhar’s thrilling duology, we are introduced to the backstory of Hamza Ali Mazari (or Jaskirat Singh Rangi). While many familiar characters return, several new characters entice viewers. Several social media folk offered balanced perspectives about the Ranveer Singh film.

Many X users rushed to watch Dhurandhar The Revenge on the day it released, and their reactions are shared below. Several netizens agreed that the true star of the film was Ranveer Singh, saying he “carries the film on his shoulder[s].” Another called the film an “exceptional cinematic experience,” projecting it could be the first Bollywood movie to earn ₹1000 crore at the box office.

A third user wrote that the film ensured viewers remained “hooked until the credit scene.” The truest test of a film’s success is not in metropolitan cities. In the same vein, this user pointed out that the shows were running till long after midnight in a “Tier 2 city in India.”

User @aamoghh said they were disappointed with the music from the second part. Considering that the first film was elevated for the retro hits, this user felt that Dhurandhar The Revenge‘s music “fails to live up [to] the expectations.”

Another poster dropped hints about the much-discussed identity of Bade Saab. Instead of revealing the actor, they said that it wasn’t Emraan Hashmi, Salman Khan, or Ajay Devgn. This built up high hopes for the reveal.

A section was disturbed by the apparent political leanings of the sequel, going as far as to refer to it as a “loud propaganda reel.” Another user referred to this, adding that these bits in the film could have been reduced to make it a “perfect movie”.
