Famous YouTuber Karl Rock, based in India, recently revealed that pirated copies of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar are being sold in Pakistan. As per him, these copies were being openly sold for as little as 50 PKR (approximately Rs 16). Rock, who is originally from New Zealand and is married to an Indian, was documenting his visit to Karachi’s well-known Rainbow centre, a marketplace known as a hub for pirated content. This is where he stumbled upon a shopkeeper selling copies of the film.

Dhurandhar In Pakistan

Karl Rock was shocked to see how easily a film could be purchased in Pakistan at such a low price. In the view, he could be seen saying, “Indian films are banned in Pakistan, but look what I found.” This is a new film from India?” To which the shopkeeper replied, saying that it was Dhurandhar which released recently. When asked how much it was for, the shopkeeper quoted a low price of 50 PKR, which is approximately Rs 16.

The YouTuber also said that since Ranveer Singh is Sindhi, his grandparents came to India from Pakistan during the partition. After seeing it make history at the box office, Dhurandhar then premiered on Netflix and became the platform’s most-watched in the first week of its release. The Ranveer Singh starrer also occupied the number one place in both India and Pakistan, despite the ban.
