Very unfortunate news made headlines from the set of Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film, Dhurandhar. The film’s shooting is currently taking place in the beautiful location of Leh Ladakh, but a sudden incident of food poisoning disrupted the shoot and caused a state of panic on the set. Reportedly, many of the crew members who fell ill after consuming food the night before were immediately rushed to the hospital after they complained of discomfort. Read on to know more about it.
What Happened?
As per the reports, Dhurandhar’s ongoing shoot in Leh Ladakh was interrupted after many crew members fell sick. The crew members ate at night and the next morning many of them experienced vomiting, stomach ache and extreme headache. Around 100 members were immediately rushed to the hospital in Ladakh. The SNM Hospital took immediate action to accomodate all the crew members and begin their treatment. As per the news reports, after a thorough examination, the The Medical Superintendent of SNM Hospital addressed the media and revealed that it was case of mass food poisoning. As per the Superintendent, many of the members were stable after the treatment and they were given immediate discharge. However, a few were kept under observation.
As of now, the reason behind this mass poisoning has not been known and the police has taken an action to find out about it. As per an ANI report, the food samples had been sent for further investigation and the reports on the same were due.
Recently, Dhurandhar’s first look starring Ranveer Singh was dropped and the fans are expecting a lot out of this film. It’s directed and written by Aditya Dhar. The release date is said to be December 5, 2025.
