Dhurandhar 2 star Rakesh Bedi has been gettin love for his role in the Aditya Dhar directorial. And amid this, he has taken a dig at actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency, which did not do too well at the box office. This happened when he was asked if the Ranveer Singh starter film was a propaganda project. Read to know more about what he said here.

During a turbine chat with NDTV, Rakesh Bedi responded to Dhurandhar 2 being a propaganda film. He said, “I don’t believe in politics. I think it’s the cinema… Everybody has the right to like or dislike a film. But I don’t think it’s right to put a film into some kind of a category… That it’s pro-establishment or anti-establishment. He further gave an example of Kangana Ranuat’s film Emergency, based on Indira Gandhi and one on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who didn’t even run for two days at the box office.
Bedi stated that Dhurandhar’s screenplay and writing was great and that people hadn’t watched a film having a success at this scale. He also talked about the overwhelming response to his film and how expectations were high already. He said that he had never seen such frenzy in his career along with many who had not seen such madness for a film.
