Even before its release, Dhurandhar ft. Ranveer Singh has been taking the internet by storm. The hype around the film was elevated after actor Rakesh Bedi, who also stars in the film, revealed that there will be a part 2 to the film. This comes just a day before the film release and guess what? The second part of the film might hit the theatres sooner than any of us expected. Yes, you read that right. The actor revealed that the second film will be released in a month or two! FYI, Dhurandhar is set to hit the big screens across the country on Dec 5. Will There Be A Dhurandhar Part 2?
During his conversation with ITV Blink, Rakesh Bedi confirmed Dhurandhar Part 2 and revealed that he has a major role in the second instalment. Additionally, the veteran star also shared that part 2 will be released in a “month or two.” Wow! Bedi further revealed that the film’s director, Aditya Dhar, loved his performance in URI: The Surgical Strike and was looking forward to working with him again. He also revealed that when Dhurandhar was greenlit in January 2024, Aditya Dhar offered him a role in the film. Expressing his excitement about the film, the veteran actor shared that his character is very different in the film and confessed that he has limited screen time in Dhurandhar. However, Rakesh Bedi confirmed having a major role in the second instalment while adding that his character in the film is inspired by a real-life politician from Pakistan, and his look also resembles the said politician.
