Reports suggest that the film is going to be approximately 3 hours and 55 minutes long, excluding intervals and promotions. Yes, you heard it right. And the internet has turned this iconic theatrical release into a full-blown comedy sketch, and it’s hilarious! Content creators have been sharing reels pretending to have an overnight stay at the cinema. In multiple viral videos, influencers dramatically packed suitcases before going to the theatre as if they were going on a long trip rather than just watching a film.

Not just this, many even went ahead with snacks, blankets, and pillows, for what they labelled as a ‘cinematic night out.’ In one widely shared video, a group of pals drags their luggage out of the house, declaring that they are going to watch Dhurandhar 2. Another image depicts a family methodically storing food supplies as if they were embarking on a long rail journey. Several even treated this as a dinner date rather than a movie and pretended to order starters.

Despite the meme fest, fans are certainly excited to see the film. Dhurandhar: The Revenge will be released in theatres on March 19, with paid previews slated on March 18. Bookings began recently, but the numbers are already remarkable. According to trade tracking website Sacnilk, paid previews alone have generated Rs 37.11 crore in advance ticket sales, putting the film on course for a big debut.
