The legendary actor Dharmendra’s demise was mourned across the country. He has left behind an endless list of films, and we’re lucky to watch him on the big screen for the very last time in Ikkis. In his memory, Hema Malini and his two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, organised a prayer meet in Delhi on December 11, Thursday. Dharmendra’s Prayer Meet In Delhi
Dharmendra passed away at the age of 89 after battling with health-related issues. He died on November 24. A prayer meet was held in Mumbai on November 27. Later, Hema Malini, along with her daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, organised another prayer meet in Delhi on December 11, Thursday. Ahana Deo’s husband, Vaibhav Vohra, and Esha’s ex-partner Bharat Takhtani were also present. The prayer meet was organised at Dr Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath from 4pm to 6:30pm, and it was attended by many who’s who.
Home Minister Amit Shah, actor turned politician Kangana Ranaut, actor Ravi Kishan and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta were in attendance. A video of Dharmendra’s journey as an actor was made by director Anil Sharma and his team, and it was played at the prayer meet.

On Dharmendra Ji’s 90th birth anniversary on December 8, Hema Malini penned a heartbreaking note in his memory. She remembered the good and happy memories spent with Dharmendra, and expressed her gratitude for getting to spend such lovely moments with him. Esha Deol also spoke her heart out in one of her recent posts in which the actor revealed how much she missed her dad.
