Bollywood’s He-Man, Dharmendra, is no more. The legendary actor had been unwell for several days and was shifted to the ICU of a Mumbai hospital. As soon as the news broke, tributes poured in from fans and stars across the country. After a few days, his two wives Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini, organised separate prayer meetings. Dharmendra Death: Wives Prakash Kaur And Hema Malini Host Prayer Meetings Separately

As per reports, after his death, his first wife, Prakash Kaur, along with sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, arranged a prayer meet called Celebration of Life at Taj Lands End in Mumbai. On the other hand, his second wife, Hema Malini, held a quiet gathering at her bungalow with daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol by her side.

At Hema Malini’s home, close family friends like Ssunita Ahuja came with her son Yashvardhan. Actress Madhoo, who has always been close to the Deol family, also joined to pay her respects.

Meanwhile, the prayer meet organised by Sunny and Bobby was attended by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sidharth Malhotra, cousin Abhay Deol, and Aryan Khan.

For the unversed, Dharmendra first married Prakash Kaur in 1954 in a simple village ceremony in Punjab when he was still a young man. Years later, after rising to stardom, he fell in love with Hema Malini. They got married on 2 May 1980 and welcomed daughters Esha and Ahana.

Recently, Hema Malini penned an emotional post for her husband. She wrote, “He was many things to me. Loving husband, adoring father of our two girls, Esha & Ahaana, friend, philosopher, guide, poet, my ‘go to’ person in all times of need – in fact, he was everything to me! And always has been through good times and bad.”
