Dhanush’s Manager Hits Back At Casting Couch Claims By Actress Manya Anand, Calls Them Fake!
Manya Anand also released a video explaining that her earlier comments were being misrepresented.
Famous actor Dhanush’s manager, Shreyas, has been making headlines after TV actress Manya Anand made casting couch allegations against him. And now, he has finally broken his silence on the controversy and shared his statement on X (Previously Twitter), claiming that the contact number used to ask for ‘commitment’ from the actress was not from his side. He also alleged that an imposter messaged her and went on to call her casting couch allegations ‘fake’ and baseless.’
What Dahanush’s Manager Said
Shreyas reiterated that, as he had already clarified on her social media accounts in January 2024 and February 2025, any casting calls or offers made using his name or the name of Wunderbar Films Pvt Ltd are entirely fake.
Manya Anand also released a video explaining that her earlier comments were being misrepresented. She said a clip from an interview was circulating online, wrongly suggesting she accused Dhanush’s manager of casting-couch behaviour. According to her, she had only told Cineulagam that an unknown person had contacted her about a Dhanush project and that she wasn’t sure whether the call was genuine or fraudulent.

She explained that her original video was meant purely as an awareness message about Dhanush’s name being misused, but it is now being circulated in a misleading way. According to her, the clip is being twisted into an accusation, and she is upset that her words are being used to defame someone. She also said certain YouTube channels have edited the footage for views.
In a recent interview, Manya alleged that Shreyas, whom she identified as Dhanush’s manager, had been pressuring her for “adjustments” for a long time. She said he invited her to be part of a film associated with Dhanush, but also made inappropriate requests.
