Netizens began labelling her as a ‘gold-digger.’ This got even worse after the cricketer wore a ‘Be your own sugar daddy’ t-shirt at the family court. During a chat with Humans With Bombay, Verma said that she had anticipated that she would be blamed for all this, even before the t-shirt controversy.
