This program has been launched by the Bajirao Mastani actor with the sole purpose of giving back something to the film industry. In the video, DP is seen interacting with her team. As per the announcement video, Deepika Padukone’s new program received 5000 applications from across the country. The OnSet Program has been launched under the platform Create With Me. It is an initiative to nurture young and creative talents in the various field of filmmaking, television, and advertising.
The video also shows how deeply involved Deepika Padukone was in the entire process, and after a thorough examination of the applicants, some of them have been selected too. DP personally also spoke to many of them about their aspirations, dreams and goals in this specific field.

This program was announced by Deepika Padukone on her birthday which made it all the more special. Through this program, the candidates will get the opportunity to learn in depth about the various departments of filmmaking like, writing, direction, camera, lighting, editing, sound designing, art direction, costume designing, hair styling, make-up artistry, and production. It will cover creative as well as technical departments. The students will also get to learn from the professionals, and will have the opportunity to visit real-sets for better understanding of the subject. The first batch is yet to be announced.
