This duo was first paired in the Farah Khan directorial Om Shanti Om in 2007. The stars entranced the audience right from that scene where her dupatta gets stuck in the sacred thread he wears around his wrist. Since then, the two have starred opposite each other in four films, all of which have been huge hits at the box office. Deepika graced the cover of the latest edition of a magazine and the interview mentioned a quote by SRK who shared what it is like working with her.

Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan were last in the 2023 film Pathaan which went on to become a massive hit, crushing the spirit of the boycott gang. The 37-year-old actress pulled some superb stunts in the film while looking extremely gorgeous in each frame. The duo will next be seen in the upcoming action thriller titled Jawan, making it their fifth project together.
