Deepika Padukone Gets Her Star On Hollywood Walk of Fame
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce recently announced its Class of 2026 inductees during a live stream, unveiling a diverse group of 35 personalities from film, television, music, theatre, and sports. Deepika has been recognised in the Motion Pictures category, joining an elite list that includes Demi Moore, Emily Blunt, Rachel McAdams, Rami Malek, Timothée Chalamet, and Stanley Tucci.
The list was read out by current Walk of Fame stars Eugenio Derbez and Richard Blade, who revealed the names of this year’s honorees selected from hundreds of public nominations. While she made her Hollywood debut in 2017 with XXX: Return of Xander Cage alongside Vin Diesel, Deepika’s career has since taken on a more global arc. The announcement of her Walk of Fame star further cements her position as one of the most recognised Indian talents abroad.
On her personal front, Deepika and Ranveer Singh welcomed their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, in September 2024. In a heartfelt message last Diwali, the couple shared, “Dua: meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers.” The Pathaan star is currently riding high on the success of Kalki 2898 AD, Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi epic, and is also confirmed for its sequel. She is next expected to star opposite Allu Arjun in Atlee’s upcoming big-budget pan-India project, tentatively titled AA22xA6.
