I feel like as time goes on, it is only natural for long-term partners to rub off on each other. You tend to be together for so long that not only do you come to accept and appreciate your differences but also kinda become a bit like them. After all, being in their company for this long will have some effect at least. I suppose the same has happened with actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh as Deepika reveals in a recent interview how different she and her family are to Ranveer and how they have rubbed off on each other.
In a recent interview, Deepika spoke about how husband Ranveer Singh has been nothing but a constant source of support and her “cheerleader” which has enabled her to make bolder choices. Ranveer is here raising the standard and I am here for it! She went on to say that she is the same towards Ranveer but is less expressive as compared to him. “He is someone who feels but is also able to articulate it. He is a tactile person, likes to hug and kiss. Me and my family are very different. We feel a lot, we are extremely sensitive and emotional people, but often we find it hard to communicate or articulate how we feel,” said Deepika.

She also discussed how they both have rubbed off on each other over the years. Deepika remembered reading one of her husband’s old interviews where he says that without her, his life would have turned out differently. She recalled Ranveer saying that he would have handled fame very differently without her which she appreciates. Yes, please make me feel even more single this Valentine’s week.
Deepika said that despite watching all of Ranveer’s movies, “Lootera, Gully Boy, and all of his other films,” (and worked with him on 3 movies), her favourite performance by him is Band Baaja Baraat. Deepika said in the interview, “There was a certain rawness and innocence in that performance that trumps all of the other films he has done. Gully Boy is an all-time favourite performance of his, but right now if I have to say, it would be Band Baaja Baraat.”
