Amid Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 success, Deepika Padukone attended a recent Mumbai concert. Featuring sitarist Rishab Rikhiram Sharma, the fete took place at Mahalaxmi Racecourse which has become a huge venue for concerts recently. Dressed in a red salwar suit with black highlights, outlined with gold brocade-style work, she looked completely immersed in the musical performance. While husband Ranveer was notably absent, she was accompanied by her in-laws. Ranveer Singh’s mother Anju Singh and sister Ritika Bhavnani were sitting beside Deepika Padukone.

It might have been a low-key outing for the actor, but she was clothed impeccably, complementing her glorious suit with a sleek bun and big earrings. Some clips from the event showed the Om Shanti Om actor chatting with a seat neighbour.

The concert, part of Rishab Rikhiram Sharma’s Sitar For Mental Health series, took place on March 20, 2026. It suggests that music, especially the sitar could promote healing among those suffering from mental health issues. Sharma has further concerts in several Indian cities with Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Kolkata on the list.

Deepika Padukone had received positive and negative attention for her remarks on demanding eight-hour working shoots. She became a mother to daughter Dua in September 2024.

She reunites with frequent co-star Shah Rukh Khan in King, which will be released in December 2026. Starring Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and more big names, the project is helmed by Siddharth Anand.
