Deepika Padukone On Kalki 2898 AD Exit
During a recent chat with Harper’s Bazaar India, Deepika Padukone said that big-budget films don’t excite her anymore, as she has focused on storytelling more. She said, “Because honestly, how much more fame, how much more success, how much more money? At this stage, it’s not about that anymore.” For Deepika, it was not about Rs 500-600 Crores anymore. When the interviewer mentioned that she had already achieved all those milestones, the actor explained that those things no longer excite her.
She added that her real passion now lies in uplifting other talent, and that she and her team are focused on nurturing storytelling and supporting emerging creative voices, including writers, directors, and new producers. She said this is what feels truly meaningful to her at this stage.

After this, Triptii Dimri was cast in her place along with Prabhas. The blockbuster film also starred Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role.
