Deepika Padukone is truly not afraid to speak up about the social issues. This also includes Mumbai’s AQI, which is concerning, to say the least. The actress didn’t shy away while tagging the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on social media over the matter. After sharing an online post about the AQI, she also joined the list of celebrities who have previously spoken about the matter. Read on to know what she stated.
Deepika Padukone Speaks About Mumbai’s Concerning AQI
Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram handle and shared a story with a screenshot of Mumbai’s Air Quality Index (AQI) included in it. The picture clearly showed the concerning AQI number. In the story, the Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani star wrote that the citizens of Mumbai, along with the children, are choking, adding, “How is this okay!?” Additionally, the actress tagged the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and its health department, asking them to take action instantly.
