The film was very well-received at the box office and will be remembered by fans forever. And amid this, many online started criticising his wife and actor Deepika Padukone, who hadn’t shared anything about the film. This led to her massive trolling online, and now she has finally addressed everything.

After a massive trolling and questioning about her ‘responsibilities’ as a wife, Deepika Padukone has broken her silence. She put an end to all of this in the comment section of a post questioning whether her lack of support online was a deliberate statement or simply being overanalysed by people online. The caption said, “Deepika Padukone just gave the ‘silent treatment’ to a ₹500 crore budget. While Dhurandhar 2 shatters global records, she skipped the premiere to attend a sitar concert with her in-laws instead. No posts, no praise, just silence.

Is she making a statement against the director or just dodging the internet’s favourite drama?” To this, she replied, The latter, my friend… P.S. I watched it way before any of you did. Now, who is the joke on?” This comment solved all the questions that the internet had about her not supporting her husband, Ranveer Singh, online, and we think that this was the best response to such shallow allegations. After this, many fans came to her support and started commenting things like, “She’s busy taking care of their kid…leave her alone,” and that maybe she wanted all the limelight to be on her husband and not her.
