In a recent turn of events, David Beckham and Victoria are reportedly trying to repair their estranged relationship with their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham. Fresh rumours suggest that sources close to the family say that the duo have been making continuous offers to meet their son and his wife, Nicola Peltz, in whatever state they wish. As per The Cut, sources say that the Beckhams have even agreed to meet their son Brooklyn with their lawyers, the Peltz family, or even a therapist to mend their relationship. However, in January 2026, he made a statement making it clear that he wasn’t looking to reunite with them. He wrote on Instagram, “I do not want to reconcile with my family.” The aspiring chef also alleged that this rift between them had been brewing since even before his wedding to Nicola Peltz in 2022 due to his parents’ distaste for the influencer.

Brooklyn accused Victoria and David Beckham of controlling the narratives around their family to press his life with ‘performative online posts and family events.’ He also confirmed that his mother ruined their wedding day by stealing the spotlight on the dance floor. Victoria and David, parents to Cruz, Romeo, and Harper, have not yet responded to Brooklyn’s charges but have shown their love and support for him on social media. Just last month, they also posted a birthday wish for Brooklyn on Instagram with a caption that said, “We love you.”

On the other hand, his brother, Cruz, brushed away tears when performing at the Courtyard Theatre in London in March, singing “Loneliest Boy,” a ballad by his band, Cruz Beckham & The Breakers, that appears to be inspired by his connection with his older sibling.
