Recently, Danson Tang shared how upset he was that some parents would take pictures of children on campus without asking their parents. Additionally, these images would sometimes end up in the media and be widely circulated. As a famous person, Tang has had his fair share of being papped. But that doesn’t mean his child deserves undue attention from people.
While the KO One actor otherwise shares cordial relationships with other kids’ parents, this privacy invasion really bothered him. He was fine with group photographs and conversations that revolved around their children. While it is understood that seeing a celebrity’s kid causes many to take another look, it was the secret photography and circulation that got to him. Taiwanese netizens were on the actor’s side. Many agreed that even parents should be barred from photography at school, lest it cause kids’ identities to be leaked.
Nonetheless, Danson Tang was okay with the media that had reported the story. He found neutral coverage and a blurred version of his kid’s likeness acceptable.
