As she took the stage to deliver her Saturday Night Live monologue, Dakota Johnson recalled that she went through two very public and “lame” breakups with two awesome musicians. She spoke about her latest film titled Verity and called it a “psycho-s*xual erotic thriller” and compared it with dating musicians. The actor joked that some of them don’t wear shoes, some of them are “terrible” in bed, but all of them are in her DMs. She stated that it wasn’t her fault, adding that some people leave concerts with merch, and she leaves with a 2.5-year relationship. She then mentioned that she has supportive friends who don’t judge her. Soon Taylor Swift appeared on the stage, and Dakota called her “therapist”. Taylor clarified that she isn’t her therapist, adding that the actor shows up once a week at her house with an empty bottle of wine and asks if she wants some. Dakota replied that he has manners. The ‘Wildest Dreams’ singer stated that she would “flop” on her couch and overshare, while Taylor would occasionally respond with “damn, that’s crazy.” The songstress added that she would eventually tell the actor that it was getting late and she should go to bed, after which Dakota would assume that she would be sleeping over. The singer then said that she would instead give her a Pedialyte before having her security drive the actor home.
