During her conversation with Miss Malini, Daisy Shah mentioned that Palash Muchhal didn’t directly contact her while approaching her for his upcoming directorial project. Instead, she received calls from unknown people who claimed that Palash was making a film and wanted her to feature in it. This made her question the authenticity of the same, so she decided to drop a text to Palash about the same. He confirmed that it was authentic. Palash told Daisy that he wouldn’t personally contact anyone, as it might go on a different tangent entirely. The duo ended up working on the said project.
When the actress was asked if she ever doubted working with Palash, Daisy mentioned that one’s personal life should not affect their professional front. She revealed not knowing the actual story, adding that there are always two sides to a coin. Daisy made sure to say that no one knows what went wrong, as it is between two families. The Race 3 star added that we are sitting here and judging them from what we heard from the media. She stressed the point that we do not know the truth and also made clear that it didn’t mean she was nullifying the woman’s side of the story; she was just being “neutral.” Daisy shared that Palash contacted her on a professional level, adding, “So, who am I to even judge a book by its cover?” Having said that, the actress hoped that everything gets well on both sides and they would get back together, as Palash and Smriti make a “lovely” couple.
