Months after the speculations and investigations around the unfortunate death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, officials have announced that the teenager was found in singer D4vd’s car with ‘multiple penetrating injuries.’ As per the LA County medical examiner’s office, the officials had announced that her death was a homicide, noting that she passed away from injuries caused by an undisclosed object or objects. Celeste was found dead in the front booth of D4vd’s Tesla in September 2024, and the singer is facing many charges regarding her death, including murder. The TikTok star, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has pleaded not guilty, and his attorney has said that they would ‘defend his innocence.’ His team has said that the ‘actual evidence’ would show that he did not kill her and that he was not the cause of her passing away.
They told the BBC, “We will vigorously defend David’s innocence.” He is due back in the LA court on Thursday at 08:30 local time. As per a medical examiner’s report obtained by the outlet, her body was discovered with stab wounds on her abdomen and chest during the autopsy, and reports also say that the forensic team found shredded blue plastic in some of her wounds. It said that she was found in a black zipper bag in the front trunk of the Tesla.
According to a toxicology report, methamphetamine or MDMA and even a low level of alcohol, were found in her system, but also revealed that these did not play a role in her demise. Celeste’s family made their first statement this week after his arraignment in court. They thanked the police and the residents of their Lake Elsinor community for the support.

It was her parents who reported that she was missing in April and wasn’t found until September, when she was declared dead. Months after this, the police arrested D4vd in Los Angeles just last week. He was detained by the police and has been held without bail ever since. After the teenager’s body was found in his Tesla, his world tour was cancelled, and all his brand deals fell apart.
