A private investigator was recently hired by D4vd’s former Hollywood residence’s owner. Steve Fischer, the investigator hired, revealed to ABC7 news that the home was actually rented by D4vd’s manager at Interscope Records. The PI also explained that the renter wanted to know if his home had played any role in Celeste’s death. Read on to know more.
Private Investigator Reveals Findings In D4vd’s Case
The case first broke out in September; however, no arrests have been made by the authorities yet. The reason for Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s death has also not been determined yet. The private investigator revealed that the last date he saw Celeste alive was on January 2, 2025.
Steve Fischer explained that he used neighbourhood surveillance videos and digital evidence to establish a timeline centred around the singer’s Tesla. He said that starting from May to July 29, the car was spotted being parked in different spots around the neighbourhood. It was last seen parked at the Bluebird venue, the same day D4vd left on a tour bus for his shows.
After Celeste’s death came to light and people started forming a connection between her demise to D4vd, the artist swiftly cancelled all his remaining tour cities last month. Fischer also opened up about what he thinks the authorities are doing to determine the reason behind Celeste’s death: “They are probably relying on toxicology to better understand what happened, which means it could be an accidental overdose with a really bad decision made afterwards,” said Fischer.

Another source tells ABC News that the victim’s lab tests and toxicology reports will hopefully answer how she died. LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell told Eyewitness News that the police have a lot of resources dedicated to bringing the case to a conclusion, but bringing everything to the public eye would be inappropriate.
