Thriller shows on journalists, crime, politics and everything in between always have attention. And I am quite excited about the upcoming Zee5 show titled Crime Beat starring Saqib Saleem, Saba Azad, Rahul Bhat and Sai Tamhankar among others. The series is directed by Sudhir Mishra and Sanjeev Kaul. Crime Beat’s trailer was dropped on February 11, and it looks like an edge-of-the-thriller series. The show revolves around the story of a stringer who wants to prove himself as the best crime journalist but the journey does not look simple. Here’s the trailer.
Crime Beat trailer gives us a glimpse of a stringer Abhishek (Saqib Saleem) and his determination to become the best crime journalist. However, things will not be that simple for him as Abhishek will find himself navigating through lies, politics, scams and an encounter with a gangster. Zee5’s original series Crime Beat looks high on performance, storyline and direction. Saba Azad also plays a journalist in the web show. Fans are quite excited to see Saqib Saleem and Saba Azad share the screen in the series.
Crime Beat’s story looks engaging because it deals with many aspects of a journalist’s life and that’s always interesting to watch, right? For the unversed, Sudheer Mishra has created some amazing films like Chameli and Calcutta Mail among other notable works. His collaboration with Saqib Saleem in this web series is another aspect to be excited about.
