Former BigBang member Seungri is accused of planning a second Burning Sun-style nightclub in Cambodia. According to the reporter, Seungri spends time with people linked to money laundering, voice phishing scams, and casino work. He also mentioned reports of the former K-pop idol partying with leaders from criminal groups in Cambodia. The reporter stated that Seungri wanted to build a new club like the old Burning Sun.

Furthermore, he added that the former K-pop idol gets good support from fans in Japan, but it’s totally opposite in South Korea. He also added that Seungri often goes to Cambodia, Thailand and Korea sometimes.

For the unversed, the former BigBang member was at the centre of the Burning Sun scandal in 2019 which led to him leaving the group and quitting the entertainment business.

South Korea’s Supreme Court ruled him guilty on nine charges in 2022 like habitual gambling, prostitution, embezzlement, food sanitation law violations, and more. He also received a sentence of one year and six months in prison.
