The Kunal Kamra “traitor” joke controversy has some shocking updates every other day. In the latest update, the Mumbai police have summoned the audience who attended the comedian’s show in question. The police will investigate the jokes that the comedian made during that particular show. Another well-known comedian and writer Varun Grover has taken a dig at this. He shared a video to talk about this move by the police and his fans agree with him too. Read on to know more about it.
What Did Varun Grover Say?
Varun Grover took to his social media handle to share a video. In this video, he spoke about knowing that the police had summoned the audience in Kunal Kamra’s joke controversy. Varun also said that it’s an insult for the comedian that one has to hear their jokes from the audience. He further added that the audience should not be allowed to say the comedian’s joke because they would most probably ruin it. Varun Grover also suggested that the best to hear the comedian’s joke is to attend the show and that can only happen when the shows are allowed to happen. He reiterated that the audience will not be able to tell the joke with the same intensity and if one attended the show, they would understand and laugh at the joke better. Varun Grover added that the audience should not be called because they would ruin the jokes.
In the caption, he wrote, “Let the jokes live”. Many fans reacted and commented on this post. Many of them left laughing emojis and applauded Varun Grover’s sense of humour.
