In this note, she acknowledged the love and affection that she got on social media and how she true she has been with her work always. Jamie Lever also expressed love and gratitude for the work that she does, however, she also reflected on the darker side of this space. As per the comedian, she has also lost a bit of herself due to social media and after reflecting the recent events, Jamie Lever also feels that not everyone would be to cheer for her or laugh with her.
Jamie Lever further conveyed her decision of staying away from social media, and taking some time off. She assured her fans that she would be back next year and also thanked them for the love and support. However, this post is not visible on her handle now. It was assumed that this decision was made after Jamie Lever received backlash for her reel on Bigg Boss 19 contestant Tanya Mittal. However, she has has now given an official statement to put an end to such rumours.

Jamie Lever has now put an end to all the confusions around her stepping away from social media after the backlash on Tanya Mittal’s reel. She spoke about the now deleted post, and stated that it had do with some personal matters, and also that she needed some quality time with her family. Addressing the media, Jamie Lever acknowledged their support but dismissed any claims or conclusions made around her decision. She signed off by writing, “See you in 2026 with more comedy”.
