Sunday afternoon was quite crazy with the rapid sale of Coldplay tickets for the two Mumbai shows on January 18 and 19. Fans React To Coldplay’s Third Show In Mumbai
This afternoon, Coldplay took to their official X (former Twitter) handle and announced a third show in Mumbai. They wrote, “Due to phenomenal demand, a third Mumbai date has been added at DY Patil Stadium for 21 January 2025. Tickets on sale at 2 PM IST today, at Bookmyshow. ” Earlier, several fans put in a lot of effort, trying to purchase tickets, however, it all went in vain due to long queues and website crashing. One user wrote, “A humble request to Coldplay – I’ve been listening to you guys for 15+ years now. I was trying to book tickets for India’s show. People are buying tickets and selling them in black for crazy prices. People who are your fans and have been waiting for years aren’t able to get the tickets. Please ensure that at the time of buying tickets, people have to put their name as well as show their ID while entering to ensure people don’t sell it in black. PLEASE ADD MORE SHOWS IN INDIA COLDPLAY! I want to watch you guys LIVE.”
Looks like fans want more shows to be added due to intense demand. Another user wrote, “If you go by the demand, you’ll have to stay in India for the entire month of January 2025.” In response to the tweet another user wrote, “They could have easily done a month-long trip in India. But NO. Have to treat us badly. They are spending a lot of time in Australia after this.” More fans added comments in their announcement post saying, “Y’all need to do an all-India tour because the demand has gotten even more intense Y’all need to stay for much longer.” The craze is insane and fans are demanding more shows to be added. We hope for the best!
