According to a report by OCD Times, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon will reportedly portray a lesbian couple in Cocktail 2. As far as Shahid Kapoor goes, it is being said that he will likely be featured as the third angle in the story. It is being suggested that the 2012 film’s sequel will bring a refreshing take on modern relationships with a love triangle at its core. However, it’s important to remember that none of the actors or the filmmakers involved in the project have officially confirmed this news.

Shahid Kapoor Drops Major Update Regarding The Film
During his recent Ask Me Anything session on Instagram, Shahid Kapoor was asked when the poster and release date for Cocktail 2 would be dropped. Without going much into details, the actor simply answered with “Soon.” Back in January, the project’s director, Homi Adajania, shared that they had finished with the film’s shoot. He shared a post on Instagram with all three stars of Cocktail 2, including Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon.
As per a report by Mid Day, it is being said that the project may release in September, ensuring that there is a six-month gap after O Romeo’s release.
