Samantha Ruth Prabhu Reveals Why Action Scenes With Varun Dhawan In Citadel: Honey Bunny Felt Like A Romantic Song!

During the teaser launch of Citadel: Honey Bunny, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan shared their experience of working together!

The wait is over as Citadel: Honey Bunny’s teaser starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu is finally here! The makers, Raj & DK  launched the exciting teaser today and fans are already hooked. Adding on to the excitement, during the press meet, co-stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu couldn’t stop praising each other’s work and shared their experiences working with each other. As they are sharing the screen space for the first time, it’s exciting to see such good chemistry. 

Varun Dhawan Calls Samantha Ruth Prabhu An Inspiration

With their teaser launch, it’s a fact to say that there will be a lot of action sequences. So, when asked about their preparation for the action sequences, Varun Dhawan stated that it was much easier for him as compared to Samantha. Moreover, he added that everyone was aware of what she was going through before she started shooting the show. Plus he thinks it was hard for him during the rehearsals, but Samantha’s work ethic inspired him a lot!

Furthermore, Samantha Ruth Prabhu also praised the actor. She stated that with Varun Dhawan it was a partnership and whenever they performed an action sequence, it made her feel like it was a dance.  Moreover, for her, it was like a romantic song as both of them shared an amazing sync. Varun also revealed that they shot an 11 to 12-minute action sequence in one take. Surprising, isn’t it? Well, Samantha couldn’t stop praising her co-star and also added that he’s one of the nicest human beings and made everyone laugh on the set. She also revealed that he’s one of the most hardworking people in the film industry and his performance in Citadel: Honey Bunny is extraordinary, and fans can see a new VD. Citadel: Honey Bunny will be released on November 7, 2024 on prime video.
