The phenomenal duo of Raj And DK is back with their action thriller Citadel: Honey Bunny, an Indian spinoff of Priyanka Chopra’s Citadel by the Russo Brothers. The series stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in lead roles and well, the much-anticipated trailer is finally here. The three-minute trailer has already got us seated because the story, action, performances, and everything about it look promising and engaging. The Prime Video series also stars Kay Kay Menon in a pivotal role. Here’s the trailer.

Let me first start with everything that I am looking forward to in this Raj And DK series. The action sequences for sure! In the trailer, we already get to see a lot of them, and I wouldn’t mind an overdose of them because the shots look amazing. Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu look quite comfortable doing the smooth gun-fighting scenes and that too with so much conviction. The action scenes promise a thrill and I am all up for it!
The Indian spinoff Citadel: Honey Bunny also promises to have emotional aspects to the story, with Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s character Honey and her daughter Nadia (the younger version of Priyanka Chopra’s character). So the Indian spinoff is the prequel to PC’s Citadel created by the Russo Brothers. We get to see the story of Nadia’s parents in this one. So that would make for an interesting watch.
The series also promises some comic moments and that would be a good break from all the action sequences that we should buckle ourselves for.
