Chrissy Teigen Announces Pregnancy Nearly Two Years After Losing Her Baby Boy

Congratulations to them!

Joining the list of soon-to-be mummas is none other than Chrissy Teigen. The former model, who is expecting another child with husband-singer John Legend, recently took to her Instagram to share the good news with her fans. The pregnancy announcement came almost two years after the couple lost their son due to issues with bleeding and placenta abruption. In October of 2020, Teigen delivered her son Jack at 20 weeks. At the time she had been on complete bed rest and experienced heavy bleeding which eventually led to blood transfusions. However, it seems that Chrissy Teigen has gotten a new chance at motherhood as she announces her pregnancy.

On Wednesday, Chrissy Teigen took to her Instagram to announce that she was expecting another baby with husband-singer John Legend. The couple, who are already parents to daughter Luna (6 years old) and son Miles (4 years old), are nervous and excited at the same time.

Sharing the good news, Chrissy Teigen wrote, “the last few years have been a blur of emotions, to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again. 1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way. Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce” but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still. I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”
