Chitrangda Singh Reveals Why She Missed Out On Working With SRK In Chalte Chalte!

There are many times that actors say no to projects for various reasons. Many of them have spoken about it, too. Recently, Chitrangda Singh spoke at length about the films that said no to, and some of which she regrets too. However, the actor revealed about losing SRK’s Chalte Chalte without even said a NO. Wondering how that happened, then read on to know about it.
Chitrangda Singh Talks About Losing Projects
The actor was most recently seen in projects like Raat Akeli Hai, web-series Khakee: The Bengal Chapter. She has earned praise for many of her performances and remains a popular face in the industry. However, little did we know that Chitrangda was actually the first choice in many films that went on to become blockbusters. During a conversation with HT City, Chitrangda reflected on some of her decisions in the past which cost her some big films. Talking about it, the actor said that she was offered Richa Chaddha’s role for Gangs Of Wasseypur, directed by Anurag Kashyap. Even Aanand Rai offered her Tanu Weds Manu. The actor accepted that she was listening to a lot of people during that time. However, she went on to praise Kangana Ranaut’s work in the film.
But the interesting incident that Chitrangda shared was about missing the chance of doing Chalte Chalte with Shah Rukh Khan. The actor revealed that the actor himself told her this while they were shooting for an ad. The Raat Akeli Hai actor added that she missed that opportunity because the makers could not find her number as she had left actor for those seven-eight years.

For the unversed, Chalte Chalte stars SRK and Rani Mukerji and it released in 2003. We are sure, it’s one of favourite Hindi rom-coms!
