Chinmayi Sripaada Suggests Taking Summer Vacations To Beat The Heat Waves. Chalo, Who Is Taking Us?
And what about those who cannot afford vacays?

“Heat Waves be fakin’ me out…” Okay, I have surely used the lyrics in the wrong context but I just wanted a pop culture reference for the actual summer heat waves that we are all experiencing. Next time I want to compliment a friend or a woman who is looking hot, I’ll call her a heat wave. Okay, bad jokes aside, it is extremely hot, and it is getting hotter by the day. But I guess all the vehicular emission, and not planting enough trees is finally taking their toll. Chinmayi Sripaada took to her Twitter to write how we all need a summer vacation to survive this heat wave, and we could not agree more!

Temperatures are soaring really high this summer, and it is extremely important that you stay hydrated and use sunscreen to protect your skin as well. This rise in temperature is a result of climate change. Shocking results were found in a new study about the ongoing heat wave in the country. Reportedly, the heat waves we are experiencing could severely impact 90 per cent of the states in India.

Odisha recorded the highest temperature on April 18 at 44.2 degrees, while over 48 meteorological stations recorded temperatures of more than 42 degrees. The heat waves will impact people’s health and productivity as well. It is nearly impossible to venture out in this heat to travel to one’s workplace. Sure the offices have air conditioners but the commute in this scorching heat might take a toll on one’s health as well. The heat waves will also impact India’s progress toward sustainability.
