Celina Jaitly Reacts To Pakistani Actors Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan’s Statements On Operation Sindoor

During an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, actor Celina Jaitly stated that the nation and national interest always come first. Pakistani artists readily capitalise on India’s entertainment industry but remain silent on the terrorism supported by their government. Despite having platforms to advocate for change and condemn violence, they choose silence. Celina Jaitly further added that until there is genuine responsibility and efforts to take down terrorist organisations, India must remain determined and establish clear boundaries.

What Did Fawad Khan And Mahira Khan Say?

Actor Fawad Khan strongly condemned Operation Sindoor and called it shameful. Similarly, Mahira Khan also slammed the operation and called it a cowardly act. In response to their statements, the All India Cine Workers Association took strict action and demanded to ban them. OTT platforms were also asked to remove Pakistani shows, movies and music. For the unversed, Instagram accounts of Pakistani actors have also been removed.
Additionally, photos of Mawra Hocane from Sanam Teri Kasam‘s posters have also been removed after her remarks on Operation Sindoor.
