Alia Bhatt’s Lookalike Celesti Bairagey Secures A Role In A TV Show, Will Play An Athlete

It first started with Katrina Kaif’s lookalike and then we got to see Celesti Bairagey, a social media influencer who came out as a doppelganger of Alia Bhatt. Celesti became an overnight sensation when a video of her went viral on social media. In the video, she recreated a scene inspired by Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt. Celesti has taken a leap in her career now, and as per reports, she has secured herself a role in a TV show.

Celesti Bairagey is now a popular face on Instagram, and more because she has many features that make her look a lot like Alia Bhatt, especially those dimples. However, as per reports, Celesti’s acting career is all set to take off as she has signed up for her first TV show. Celesti Bairagey hails from Assam and is a student of English Literature. However, she has a lot of interest in making her career in the field of acting, and she has actually made it happen. Going by a Times of India report, Celesti has secured a lead role in the upcoming TV serial Udti Ka Naam Rajjo. Talking about the same, Celesti said that she always wanted to become an actor and dreamt of acting in skits and drama. She further elaborated that her Instagram has always been active and the makers of the show actually called her for an audition after watching her recreated video on Gangubai Kathiawadi. Celesti also said that after a few mock auditions, she got the role.

Celesti Bairagey also talked about her shooting experience. Elaborating on the same the actor said that they shot in Kullu Manali under very cold weather conditions and also performed difficult stunts. She also talked about her role which will be of an athlete and said that she is proud of playing it. Adding to it, Celesti said that she hopes to meet Alia Bhatt someday after doing such good roles.
