The Actor Awards, formerly known as Screen Actors Guild Awards recently took place. Catherine O’Hara won the Best Actor in the Comedy series for her fantastic role in The Studio. The award to the late actor was received by Seth Rogan, the writer and star of The Studio. He also dedicated an emotional speech. Everyone in the auditorium stood up to give Catherine O’Hara a standing ovation. Actor Awards took place at the Shine Auditorium in Los Angeles. During his speech, Seth Rogan also shared how the actor used to politely make suggestions for her character in The Studio and that it always worked.
For the unversed, Catherine O’Hara passed away in January this year. She was 71 at the time of her demise. According to the news reports, the actor suffered brief illness before her unfortunate demise. She was at her Los Angeles home. Her demise was mourned by many Indian actors like Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra among others.
