She recently went live on Instagram, wearing what seemed to be a wig cap, to reveal that it’s been months since she washed her hair. Further in the video, Cardi B shared the plans for her hair. She said, “I gotta oil down my scalp because tomorrow I’m going to do my real hair,” she divulged. “I’m going to wash it, and then around Wednesday I’m going to braid it.” Many took to X (Previously Twitter) and revealed that they were horrified by the graphic admission. Many said that they were going to ‘throw up’ while listening to this graphic information about the rapper’s hair. Others took the ‘WAP’ singer’s admission with a grain of salt.
They commented, “Y’all believe anything and run with it.” Some users responded with scepticism, questioning Cardi’s comments and sharing their own hair-washing habits. The rapper, who is currently pregnant with her fourth child and her first with Stefon Diggs, isn’t the only celebrity to draw attention for unconventional hygiene routines. In 2022, talk show host James Corden also admitted on his show that he washes his hair only once every two months, sparking a similar debate online.
