Actors often face a big challenge when it comes to privacy. Because of their fame, people always want to know what they are doing, where they are going, and who they are with. This lack of privacy can be tough as sometimes public figures can’t do simple things without being noticed. It can be hard to have personal moments when the public eye is always on you. Speaking on a similar topic, in an exclusive interview with Hauterrfly, Ananya Panday stated that people have forgotten about humanity.

Ananya Panday On Lack Of Privacy

Ananya Panday is currently promoting her latest comedy-drama series, Call Me Bae directed by Collin D’Cunha. During our exclusive interview, the interviewer asked the cast of Call Me Bae about their views on Satyajit’s (Vir Das) character’s infamous line- “Privacy is so last century.” Ananya Panday said, “I think humanity is very important. People often forget that the people you are covering are also humans. So, I think if you just have that in your head you have followed like basic levels of decency and humanity, it’s important to do that. “

Furthermore, singer Lisa Mishra who made her debut with Call Me Bae also shared her opinion. She said, “It’s an unfortunate truth. I wouldn’t say it’s the last century, I would say it’s a fact of life. Lack of privacy is a fact of life if you choose to be in the limelight. However, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have it. I think everyone is entitled to have that privacy for sure.” For the unversed, Ananya Panday made her OTT debut with Call Me Bae which also stars Gurfateh Pirzada, Vir Das, Varun Sood, Niharika Dutt and Vihaan Samat in pivotal roles.
