In the video, the ‘Slow Dancing’ singer shared his regret for not being able to join the show in person due to his busy schedule in the United States as he was gearing up for BTS’s upcoming album. He mentioned that Park Bo Gum had invited him to appear on the show, but the timing didn’t work out. V further expressed his hope to collaborate with Bo Gum on a future project and thanked the audience for supporting the show. Lastly, he said, “We will come out with a cool album next spring; please look forward to BTS music. I’ll work hard! Thank you!”
This wasn’t the first time a celebrity surprised Park Bo Gum on his talk show. Earlier, singer and actress IU also made a memorable gesture. The singer and actress shared a video message, which was played on the large screen. She congratulated Bo Gum on his successful run as the show’s host and apologised for not appearing as a guest as she had promised earlier.

IU shared that she was a regular viewer of the show and praised her When Life Gives You Tangerines co-star as both an MC and a musician. But, this wasn’t it. She further made it extra special with her unexpected arrival in person after the video ended. IU entered the set while holding a bouquet of flowers and left Bo Gum emotional.
