BTS made the night unforgettable at Spotify’s SWIMSIDE event in New York City on March 23, 2026. 1,000 lucky fans earned their spot and the special evening celebrated the legendary group’s fifth album, Arirang, while fans, aka ARMYs, surprised the members with a beautiful handmade project full of love and care. The seven members delivered powerful live versions of three songs from their new albums – SWIM, Normal, and 2.0 – and filled the rooftop with their charm and electrifying performances, while ARMYs cheered loudly. Even though leader RM stayed seated for most of the show because of his ankle injury, his presence was on another level. He also stated that his recovery was going well, which made fans feel much happier and relieved.
Not just performances, they also played a fun game and talked about the difficult “hahaha” part in their song Hooligan. RM and SUGA admitted the rhythm was tricky to sing, and Jungkook even tried to show it once more and the crowd went crazy.

Another highlight was fans’ beautiful handmade projects. They placed colourful light sticks, big banners, photo cards, and thoughtful gifts around the event area. One special card caught V’s eyes. It said, “We Stayed.” V read the words aloud, smiled brightly, and asked, “Army stayed?”
His warm reaction melted hearts and quickly went viral among fans. One fan wrote, “Taehyung is such a curious baby” with lots of heart emojis. Another user wrote, “His smile when he realised? HE WAS SO HAPPY MY BABY” with crying and heart emoticons. Well, this special night was extra meaningful, as it was their first group performance in the United States in nearly four years.
