At the 2025 Paradise Art Night event, V turned heads in a sleek all-black outfit. Fans at the event were thrilled to see him share a warm greeting with Eric Nam, a fellow artist with whom he shares a long history. However, not everyone was pleased.

Some fans criticised the interaction and pointed at Eric Nam’s alleged political views, which they found problematic. On X, a group of fans expressed their frustration and asked V to distance himself from Eric Nam and align with their values.
