The K-pop group is all set to release new episodes of its beloved variety show Run BTS very very soon, and fans can’t wait for the group to get on to their silly shenanigans once more! Run BTS New Teaser Reveals A Brand New Version Of The Variety Show Is To Come!
With all seven members finally reuniting to continue their variety show, fans are anticipating what chaos will be seen onscreen. It was also revealed that the first episode of the new version, called Run! BTS 2.0 will drop on April 7, 2026.
The teaser offered a glance into the group’s behind-the-scenes process of preparing for the reality show. As with most of their music, the members adopted a very hands-on approach with Run! as well. While the show was massively successful among the fans (aka ARMY), the septet believed it was time for a refresher. With the content and trends evolving quickly, they wanted the new show to reflect these changes as well a new version of themselves.
One knows that when left to their own devices, RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook come up with absurd ideas. In the early days, they have worn strange airport outfits (remember Jin’s hanbok?) and even been forced to enter the cold Canadian waters as punishment. Additionally, the last time the members discussed ideas for Run BTS, the members ended up participating in the painful flying yoga.
This time, Jimin proposes shooting at RM’s apartment, an idea the latter immediately shuts down. Next, SUGA, known for obsessively working on music wonders if they should attempt to live as another member for a day. That would mean playing the guitar for 8 hours. Other ideas such as foot volleyball (V) also came up. J-Hope considered a back-to-military episode, but Jin was having none of that. Jungkook seemed to concur with SUGA’s guitar playing plan.
The first episode of the newly revamped Run! BTS 2.0 will release on April 7, and fans can’t wait to watch it. It will be available on YouTube.
