BTS’ RM Gets Called “Ugly”, ARMYs Fiercely Defend His Visuals Against Haters!

This is hardly the first time that the ‘Dynamite’ group has been hit with these remarks. Coming on the heels of a controversy that the BTS leader was faking his ankle injury, the remark seems to have come from a place of hate.

Recently, his hurt leg came under the scanner for apparently healing too quickly, according to netizens. Fans had defended him by saying that a simple sprain does not take that long to get better. ARMYs were happy that the BTS leader was able to participate in the choreography after he was prevented from giving his best at the Gwanhwangmun comeback concert.

An X user allegedly referred to Kim Namjoon, aka RM, as the “ugliest idol” they had ever seen. Fans were taken aback, considering that attractiveness was a matter of personal taste. However, the fact that this was posted as such a definitive statement bothered them.

A fan shared a GIF clip of the leader, asking if this is who they meant when they called him unattractive. It has garnered over 3.5 million views as of publication.

Later, more fans came to his defense, calling out the post for being callous and insensitive. While the original Tweet has since been restricted from viewing, ARMYs have replied about how strange it was that this was a discussion in the first place.
