Popular Korean group BTS is back with a new album titled Arirang and is busy promoting it. After their legendary performance at Gwanghwamun Square, they flew to New York to show off their brand-new performances. Soon after arriving, members RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were seen heading to a restaurant, and videos of them were spread online, showing large crowds of fans and paparazzi already waiting outside the venue.
As the members left the restaurant, fans and photographers quickly took over. People called out their names, asked for autographs, and followed them closely with cameras and phones. The group had to walk through the crowd to reach their cars. Videos of the moment went viral on social media platforms, with many fans, aka ARMYs, expressing disappointment about how crowded and intense the scene became.
The situation worried fans even more when they saw leader RM moving quickly on crutches. He had hurt his ankle badly during rehearsals in Korea. The ‘Come Back To Me’ singer was also seen using crutches at the airport. In New York, he appeared to be hurrying on his crutches, which raised concerns about his safety and health. Many fans called for more respect and privacy for the group during their personal time.
Despite the incident, BTS continued with their busy schedule in the city. On March 23, they took part in the fun Spotify x BTS SWIMSIDE event. It featured a live performance and a special Q&A session for 1,000 chosen fans.

Next, the group will appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on March 25 and 26. This will be their first full group visit since 2021. They will do an interview and perform two new songs.
